The Storm of Frustration part 1
Carlyle Goodgold was told by two sparrows about a storm that would not quit. A storm so unatural it was destroying their lush valley and as the head of the druidic order he took this very seriously. He decided to seek out Tom Smith who was still trying to get Timber to learn how to Guard, either Timber already knew how and was just messin with him or he was just a stuborn wolf. Approaching Tom the Elder Druid asked if he could in any way investigate this storm. Tom agreed and met with the two sparrows Treep and preet. After, Tom decided to ask the other Knights of the vale to help him on this quest .
What they found was something more then just a storm. The historian Miro from the order of the feathered serpant was quick to point out that some 50 or so years ago there was a mage who built a tower in that valley but was never seen again. Along their journey the two swallows told Tom about there forest gardian Toughbough an aged Treeman whos roots ran deep.
As they got closer to the valley they found their way blocked by a chasam with a single ropebridge across built by someone long ago. They took their time crossing when, at the end, Sir Igail began to slip. Halfway across, the boards gave way and realizing finesse wasn't his strong point he decided to run. As each of his heavy boots touched a board it would shatter and splinter making him run faster and faster. In the end he had made it to the other side where his friends were dumbfounded at how he was able to run so fast. Looking back at the ancient creation all that was seen was the ropes and the odd strap of wood still holding on. Nodding to the others and cleaning off his hands from rope burn Igail was the first off towards the valley.
After a while the weather changed and got more furious and the wind picked up to such a cadence that to talk was to yell and any hope of shooting an arrow or throwing a spear was gone.
